Music Press

Back as a teenager I got into following the happening in the music scene.  Maybe inspired by Ian ‘Molly’ Meldrum.  I started out with the magazines directed at teenagers primarily like Smash Hits.  As I grew older I moved over to Rolling Stone and then when I discovered the New Musical Express I moved over to that and used to buy that religiously week in week out.  Then I discovered Q Magazine from the UK and SPIN from the USA.  Along the way I sampled some magazines which have now seized to exist like No. 1, Melody Maker, Juice, Vox and Select.  I very rarely buy any musical press.  The advent of the Internet in the mid 90s means alot of information now comes through on that medium.  Here are some covers from 1999 through to 2008.
